My Poems
Poems are written and catalogued according to sections. Some by length, topic, emotion, and form. I don't write by hand very often. I'll put the mark of a pen next to any hand-written poem so that the picture to the left is an accurate representation.
(I probably should get one of those cool writing books, too.)

My Training
Unfortunately, like most training, my literary education (a BA in English) contributed in only a minor way toward any certification as a poet. I taught English in a Catholic High School (St. Bernard's in Inglewood, CA) for three years. Mostly, I've scribbled them out for family and friends for the past 55 years. Like folks crochet, needlepoint, macrame, or make casseroles, I write poems. The really good ones are hidden from everyone, including me. Only now are any available for review.
The good news about poets is that most of us get away with unmitigated poetic license fraud, and no one has come up with an effective punishment to give us pause. Not even for a second.
